Gae Aulenti Square is a square circle 100 feet in diameter situated in Milan. Raised by 6 meters above the street level, designed by Argentine architect Pelli Cesar to completion of the towers of the same name. On 7 December 2012, the square was dedicated to the architect and designer who recently passed away Gae Aulenti.
Many already refer to it as the “heart of the new district of Porta Nuova”, with completion by the end of summer 2012.
